Day 165: Friday, April 24 - Ouch!

The data transferring took forever! It took so long I had to leave the computer working even after I went to bed. Last night around midnight I ran downstairs to turn off the computer. Mike always razzes me because I don't turn on any lights when I wander in the dark. This time came back to haunt me. I only stepped with my heel on the stair, slipped, and fell down about 4 stairs. I could feel my arm scrape down the carpet and I definitely hurt! I woke Mike up to tell him about the burn, but he just grunted and rolled over. This morning I woke up and there was the burn with a hefty bruise along with it!

Do you think I will learn from this experience and turn on the light when I walk around at night? Probably not.
