Day 161: Monday, April 20 - Back to Reality

I will have to admit, it was nice being back at work today. I missed it and my kids really missed me. They pushed my buttons to see if I would let them get away with as much as the sub did, but they soon remembered who was truly in charge. While we were in New York, Leslie and I collected a bunch of these free images in the shape of the Statue of Liberty. We gave them to our classes to use as bookmarks. It was their "souvenir" of our vacation. They loved them! Now all I see around the room, on the floor and on the desks, are pictures of Lady Liberty, a nice second reminder of our trip.
