They say that when the weather is nice the New Yorkers all come outside. We learned the truth of that statement today. The weather was over 70 degrees, the perfect weather for walking through Central Park, eating a hot dog. Everyone was out! There were picnics, baseball games, street performers, kids on scooters, and shorts and sandals everywhere. It was too bad I started feeling sick that morning. I didn't want to waste the last day of vacation, so I bucked up and popped some pills.

We also got to see the Manhattan Temple, which is so cool. It is just a basic building with the Statue Moroni perched on top.

Here we also learned the ins and outs of the New York subway. Here is GQ man in his new boots.

Lunch today was one of my favorites - Sal's Pizza and Pasta Cafe in Little Italy. Sal was the optimal restaurant owner. He joked around with Robbie about not being allowed to eat and he pronounced that Mike must learn about the night life in New York after being married at so young an age. It was priceless.

It was the perfect end to the perfect vacation. By this time, we were all ready to go home.
