but it had taken so long that Janette decided to just go home. Well, at least one of us got stuck with a needle today.

Day 134 : Wednesday, March 25 - American Red Cross: Together We Can Save a Life
Today was our stake's blood drive. I decided to go since I haven't donated in awhile. Janette and I were going to take turns giving blood and watching Olivia out in the church lobby. I went it first, got through my screening, and was sat on a bed. I ended up waiting, just sitting there, for this guy next to me to go through the entire process! All the while, one of the workers ate pizza and another one sat and stared at us. I was getting a little annoyed. My phlebotomist did not know how to help two people at the same time, and I just sat there, regretting the choice to give blood that day. I was finally helped and got going. I was privileged to listen to the girl next to me. It was her first time giving blood and she fainted, then puked after donating. Not a pleasant experience to eavesdrop in on. In the end, it took an hour and fifteen minutes to donate my entire bag of blood
