Britney and Jaron's cute Lexi turned 1 today! I had the privilege of attending the beginning of her party and enjoying some of Britney's awesome cooking, like her cheeseball and 7-layer dip. I have to say, she is one freaking adorable kid!
On a fabulous side note, my shoes are now fixed! Mike took them to a coworker who owns his own shoe repair store (many small business owners work at UPS part time for the insurance benefits). He had them done overnight and wanted to charge us a mere $5. We said no to that, of course. I am extremely impressed with his work. He even replaced both heels with rubber ones so they won't click so much! You can't even tell the dog was just chowing down on the sole two days ago.

You never would have known that knowing the right people would be a benie when working at UPS. They should note that in the benefits package!
