Day 115: 03.06.09 - Who's Watching the Watchmen?

Mike's long awaited day finally arrived - today The Watchmen movie was released. He first read the graphic novel (fancy word for comic book) years ago, not that I have read it, and he has been waiting for the movie ever since. We went to an opening day showing of course. Surprisingly, the entire theater was pretty vacant for the opening of a long awaited film by comic book geeks around the world. To sum it up, it was slow and didn't match the book. We decided we are purists - we both hate it when our favorite books are ruined by money grubbing Hollywood producers.
