1. 3 fake pennies and a fake nickel. My kids earn fake money for good behavior and it is easier to carry around a pocketful of change.
2. A real quarter I took away from a student. She was spinning it on the table.
3. A pen. What good teacher doesn't carry a pen around in his/her pocket? (?)
4. A taffy wrapper. I ate a taffy I found in my purse today. Don't tell anyone.
5. Advil Cold. It fell out of my purse and for some reason I put it my pocket.
6. Midnight Pomegranate hand sanitizer. After reading the article about teachers and germs (teachers average 17,800 bacteria per square inch in their classroom), I have taken to carry a germ killing agent around in my pocket. My hands may be chapped, but I hopefully won't get sick!

LOL, that's great. I have a whole baggie full of that fake money in my drawer because I found it all over the place and kept forgetting to bring it to the school. I don't want to throw it away because I keep telling myself that the next time I go to Park View, I will bring it. You now, all the times I go there... I think it was always in my pants pockets and then I'd hang my pants up in the closet and it would all fall out onto my closer floor. I'd find it in my shoes a lot too, since I keep my shoes on the closet floor. LOL.
Use that hand sanitizer! I used it like a loon last year, but I only got sick once, and I caught it from my husband! And I was even eating like six times a day during class! It's a wonder I didn't get more sick.
This was a great, honest, and silly post. I liked it! :)
Classic teacher pockets!
