Day 88: Saturday, February 7 - What Was He Thinking?

Today I got the privilege of helping my friend Diana paint her baby's room. Not only did I help her paint, but I agreed to teach her relief society lesson while she goes out of town next week! Last time I help her with anything! haha Just kidding Diana. I came home to this:I bet you are wondering what it is. I was also very curious as to what it was. I opened up the already opened box.


My husband ordered three cases of Ale81 off the internet. "Now this is no ordinary soda," he says. (Yes it is soda, not alcohol.) Here is the story of the soda that is amazing enough to be ordered online. When Mike served in Cincinnati and Kentucky, he used to drink Ale81 all the time. Of course, it is only available in that market. I guess it is called Ale-8-one because of a "Name that soda" contest. "A Late One" was the winning title for this unique ginger ale type soda, so they made the name of Ale81 as a pun for the winning name. Also, it was apparently supposed to come out before Coke, but something happened to force the release to be after Coke, also hence the "A Late One" name. Any way, blah blah blah, now I have three cases of soda in the corner of my kitchen. I wonder how much that cost me?
