Day 58: Thursday, January 8 - Easy Reads

I am an avid reader - always have been. I need some light, mindless books to read in between the rousing tales of Beyond Classical Pedagogy. Here are some of my recent reads:

A rousing murder mystery involving lots of designer purses. I love a good book that involves expensive purses, shoes and clothes. It reminds me that I, sadly, will never be able to afford a nice pair of Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo shoes or a nice Prada or Chanel bag. Poor me. But cute book.

I reread this one for the fourth time. Always love it. This one reminds me of the reasons I don't spend my money on those great shoes or purses. I am a little scared for the movie, however. I hope they don't screw it up.
Man these books don't photograph well! That's what good old amazon is for. I am in the middle of this one. It is about Jane Eyre's daughter. Duh! It tells the story of what happens after the fire and all that. I can read it now because it is written in modern-day prose. Good so far!

That's all the time I have for today folks! I will give another update on my picks in the future.
