The work party - the ultimate social scene. Right? You have to impress your boss, suck up to your coworkers, holiday fairy wands. Not at this party. It was at Tucano's, the "all the meat you can eat" restaurant. (One of my favorite signs there said you can add shrimp for just $6.95. As if you don't have enough meat for the exorbitant price you are paying!) The food was "on" tonight and we got to get to know our team and their significant others better. The only problem with this venue is the volume. It is just too noisy to socialize well, and you can't get up and move to talk to others because you might miss the next meat item, or the fave - the grilled pineapple. This has been our party for the past two years, and I enjoyed it both times. Next year, I hope we choose a venue with larger social opportunities. It made for cute pictures though! Leslie, we are glad you came with us, even if James couldn't.
