Day 6: Sunday, November 16 - No That's Not, It's Mine!

We have great neighbors. They moved in around April. We would see each other every day taking our dogs out for a bathroom break, so we have become pretty good friends. I was there playing with Olivia, who is 2, and we were playing with coins. She is pretty bright, so I was teaching her the names of the coins (as only a teacher would do). Every time I said, "This is a nickel," she would say, "No that's not, it's mine!" I couldn't figure out why she claimed it on only the nickel. She would say "that's a dime" but not "that's a nickel." Then it finally hit me - she can't say Nicole so she calls me Nickel. She thought I wanted to take her money! When I didn't move fast enough for her she said, "I don't have to stand for this!" What a cute girl.

Here are some pictures Janette, Liv, and I took when we hiked Bridalveil Falls in October.
The three of us. Notice the matching hats? haha

The nature girl. Liv has this obsession with leaves, rocks, sticks, bugs, flowers, etc - anything outside.
