Day 1: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 - The Balloon

Thanks to viewing Heidi and Cassity's blogs, I have decided to do the same challenge they are doing. It is a picture each day for an entire year. I know, that sounds like a lot, and I will have to carry my camera wherever I go, but I love reading theirs and I want in on the action! :-) I will become my journal of sorts for the next year, so we will see how it goes.

This is my balloon. My current class is about algebra in the elementary classroom. In my class today we had to see how many breaths we could take to fill, measure it, graph it, and see if we could find a pattern. My balloon won! That's right - the competitive side comes out. I put 6 puffs into that thing and beat out Garrett for the biggest balloon. Tracy decided we needed to draw a face on it. Notice the nose. Six breaths = a 6 for a nose. So awesome! haha I only wish the batteries on the camera lasted long enough for me to get a picture with her...
