The Amazing Race
So Leslie, Carrie and I hosted a Halloween party on Saturday featuring our game of The Amazing Race. After dinner, we started the games with a cake decorating contest between the groups. The winner of the game got to leave the party first for the scavenger hunt portion of the game. Our group proceeded to ditch us (yes, it was a misunderstanding, but it still sucked) so Mike, Bridger, Stacy and I became our own group. We went to the graveyard to make a rubbing of a gravestone with the birth or death date between 1960 and 1970 and remembered we were out of gas. Of course, Bridger was the only one who brought his wallet along so he paid for our gas. Thanks Bridger! We walked across the street to Rite Aid to find the price of witch hazel while Mike pumped our gas. We were a little late getting back so the groups were already leaving for the second portion of the scavenger hunt, so we stayed back at Peteetneet. So, enough of the boring part and on to the exciting portion of the night. A wedding was taking place at the same time as our Halloween party, and those guests were a little drunk and looking for a fight. They said something to all of us as we were walking out, but most of us had the good sense to ignore them. One group, however, made the mistake of responding to their comments. The wedding guests got mad and motioned to pee on his car. The Halloween party guy said he would call the cops if he did. So the wedding guest knocked his cell phone out of his hand and got all up in his face. One of the other Halloween party guests called the police, so a cop showed up. The wedding guest then proceeded to punch the cop in the face! Subsequently, the man was arrested and hauled off to jail. Three other cop cars showed up along with an ambulance to help out the wounded cop. These Halloween party guests spent the next little while making statements and the main couple involved had the police escort them to their car so the wedding guests wouldn't follow them home. What an eventful night!
