Demolition Derby

We attended the first annual Utah County Demolition Derby here in Spanish Fork last weekend. I had my reservations at first but it was pretty freakin' cool! It made me want to drive around and smash into other cars, but I think I am too much of a pansy for that. The powder puff round was the best. For those of you who have never attended a derby before, that's when the women get to do their thang. At one point, one of the women flew at another car in order to disable it. As she crashed, she literally pushed the other car completely upside down and drove on top of it! This is a picture of her car on top of the other one (sorry, taken with my cell). Both women were uninjured, but the lady felt really bad. The cool part was that the car that flipped over actually drove right out of the arena even with its roof completely smashed in and proceeded to enter the final wipe out round! Score one for the women!
