I did not get to go to my conference in Park City this year because I was in class, obviously, learning about great things like boinks and knockers (see previous post). However, I went up one night and spent the evening with all the Nebo School District people. Leslie was kind enough to share her room with me. In our district, there are many women in higher level positions. Seth, our curriculum specialist, took us out to dinner. He was the only man there that evening. These two older couples were trying to figure out if we were a family, and we had a conversation on how we were just there for a teaching conference. When we ordered our meal, Leslie was the first person to order and told the workers our "husband" would pay for our meal. The funniest part of that was the beer poster on the wall. We just had to take a picture next to it to document our night of polygamy. :-)
